Coral from the SEA!

I bought real coral beads for my bridesmaids' jewelry, but ended up not using them.  I later turned them into a necklace for myself by stringing together all four of the coral beads and adding a cream-colored rose cabochon (the same cabochons from my bridesmaid necklaces).

I feel that the length of the necklace is too long, and it jangles quite obnoxiously when I walk, so I may end up shortening the chain to a more classic necklace length.

Coral + Hemp!

I love the red color of coral, and fashioned this necklace using some awesome coral-colored beads I found.  I was inspired by a necklace I saw in a store, where they attached strings of beads to a braided hemp rope.  I braided the rope myself using a thin, dark brown hemp rope, attaching a button for the clasp.  So fancy!

This necklace is probably my favorite piece I have made so far.  I love it so much!

This necklace is currently available in my Etsy shop!

Little Owl (Part 2)

I decided to make little owl with blue beads instead, including some fun pearl-white beads made out of tiny seed beads.

SOLD!

Little Owl

I found this fun little gold owl, and designed an antique gold necklace on which to put him.  I used some red painted hand-carved wooden beads to accent the necklace, and made a matching pair of earrings.

The owl necklace is SOLD!

The earrings are available in my Etsy store.

Custom: Brown and Boring for Mary

My lovely sister requested brown earrings.  I had two different ideas, so I went with both!  Brown and boring, but quite lovely.  The earrings on the left feature a mock-crystal plastic bead, while those on the right feature hand-carved wooden beads.

I still have some of the mock-crystal beads, so this pair can be made-to-order in the Etsy store!

Plastic Jade Beads!

I found these pretty jade colored beads, and made a matching earring/bracelet set.

These pieces are available in the Etsy store!

New and Improved: Turquoise Earrings

I had an old pair of earrings that featured some lovely deep blue beads.  The metal ring had become all corroded and nasty, so I removed the beads and created some new dangly earrings!  New life to old earrings.

The new version is available in my Etsy shop!

Abalone Circles

One of my first creations...I made them from some unique abalone beads.  EVERY time I wear these, I get compliments.

These earrings are now available in my Etsy shop!

The Beginning: Guitar Pick Earrings

My first pair of earrings (before KayZilla came to be) featured real Fender guitar picks.  I drilled a hole through them to make them into a bead.  I've had them for several years and still love to wear them!
