I decided to make little owl with blue beads instead, including some fun pearl-white beads made out of tiny seed beads.

Little Owl
I found this fun little
gold owl, and designed an antique gold necklace on which to put him. I
used some red painted hand-carved wooden beads to accent the necklace,
and made a matching pair of earrings.
